Congratulations to Ben, Callum and Jack for taking part in the recent cyclocross competition and a special well done to Ben and Callum who came 2nd and 3rd overall
Congratulations to all the cubs and beavers who took part in the District 5 a side football competition today – Sunday 14th May. 2 of our teams got through to the semi finals, beavers losing after extra time and cubs losing on penalties. which makes them just as good as David Beckham!!

24 cubs and their leaders have just spent the weekend at the tented village at Blackwell Court. with the weather on Saturday freezing cold and wet, they cubs climbed and abseiled before one group braved the rafting and the others braved the giant zip wire.
Saturday evening the rain even stopped… nearly, for the orienteering.

please remember we have our agm on Thuesday – 7pm at KC1st lower school for all cubs,beavers and scouts and parents. From the following week we will be meeting at Rhydd Covert instead of the school-same times.

Our first full camp this year is in May when we take 18 cubs to Blackwell Court in Bromsgrove. Cubs will take part in climbing, abseiling , canoeing and rafting during the weekend.
12 cubs and 3 leaders braved January’s weather to spend their first weekend at Rhydd this year, staying in the activity hut the cubs completed their Outdoor plus, map readers and Hikes away 5 badges. with a great day spent at Wolf Mountain , climbing, caving and archery and then a 5 mile map reading [...]
Cub Scouts have the chance to spend a week with other cubs from Kidderminster District at Ardres, Northern France with Acorn adventure. The district have just booked a week organised by Acorn Adventure for August 2011 and is avialable for all cubs aged 8 – 11 next summer.
