KD9 is a scout group based in Kidderminster UK – the group is based on the Spennells estate and meet at Heronswood Primary School for Beavers and Cubs, and Rhydd Covert for the Scouts.
Originally formed in 1983, the Group have gone from strength to strength and are currently one of the largest Groups in Kidderminster.

At the annual census in January 2010, the Group was 85 members strong with a leadership team of 13,
20 Beavers, 29 Cubs and 21 Scouts. We also had one young leader supporting Cubs.
In February 2010, a new Scout Troop was opened which now takes the Group to over 100 members.
In April 2010, the Group decided to purchase new neckerchiefs for the members. The original sky blue design now incorporates a blue border and an embroidered Heron motif and wording to recognise the group membership.
